Hey there!

Just wanted to share some cool updates I recently came across in the real estate and home building scene. You know about the recent changes in the NEC (National Electric Code), right? Now, outlets can't be installed on the sides of kitchen islands anymore. They've updated the code to say outlets for islands and peninsulas can't be below the countertop and work surface level. I thought this was pretty interesting.
This particular option I like because it's flush until the time you need it, so doesn't take away from usable counter space.
Also, I chatted with Sales Counselor Hunter Ferguson at Highland Homes in Woodforest, and guess what? They've switched to mineral exterior paints! No more acrylic/latex stuff for them. Turns out, mineral paint like Romabio is way better at handling moisture and protecting homes in the long run. Perfect for our humid Houston weather, right?
If you want to check out the benefits of mineral paint, here's the link:
These updates show how home construction and painting technologies are advancing. If you're thinking about renovations or new construction, these new developments might interest you.
Let me know if you want more info or if there's anything else I can help with. Always happy to chat about real estate and home improvements!
